James Boswell is the Water Quality Policy Manager for the City of Thornton. James has worked in water treatment and water quality for over 20 years. He first got involved in water treatment with the military after finishing high school. James received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Auburn University at Montgomery. He worked for AUM as a research assistant doing water quality research before relocating to Colorado. In Colorado, James has worked for South Adams County Water and Sanitation District, CDPHE’s Water Quality Control Division, and had a prior stint of employment with the City of Thornton. James received his Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from the University of Colorado at Denver.
