Steve Lundt Bio
Steve Lundt attended Pacific University near Portland, Oregon, where he received a bachelor’s degree in sociology and chemistry. Following three years of employment in a research and development laboratory in Denver, Mr. Lundt went on Indiana University. There he earned a master’s degree in Environmentl Science focusing on limnology from the School of public and Environmental Affairs.
Following graduation, he became the lake scientist/manager for Oswego Lake, Oregon. There, he implemented a pboat-tagging program to control invasive species, installed a layered aeration system, and conducted a phosphorus inactivation treatment with alum.
In 2002, Mr. Lundt moved back to Denver and began work with the Metro Wastewater Reclamation District, where he is responsible for monitoring Barr Lake, Milton Reservoir and the South Platte River downstream of Denver. He has been a member of both the Colorado Lake & Reservoir Management Association and the North American Lake Management Society, and is a Certified Lake Manager.
